she's 12

our first born was 12 yesterday, how time flies.. kalau kat malaya dah boleh bawak pergi Jabatan Pendaftaran buat Mykad.

 she woke up early yesterday morning and asked if she could open  her presents. i told my self & her daddy that we were not going to spend much on  presents and it would be better to give her some cash for her to save up towards her school Paris trip next year but then again, her birthday comes only once a year and  we dont buy her things all the time, not even a reward for doing well at school cos she is supposed to get good grades anyway, no two ways about it.

she got  few presents this year. last sunday daddy bought her a pair of colourful babycham trainers and i bought some clothes from dorothy perkins (yes, we wear the same shoe size and go to the same clothes shop). then i got her some smelly stuff from perfume shop and mimi also gave her a bottle of perfume. ye lah, bak kata mimi, dah 12 y.o takkan lah nak bagi Hello Kitty stuff pulak...her bff Lauren came early yesterday morning with  few presents - pair of horsey ear studs, a bottle of perfume, strawberry shortcakes. and yesterday afternoon, the postman delivered a school bag that i ordered online & presents from her aunty Gill, our family friend -  a nice horsey card &  a cheque.

she requested for icecream cone cakes on her birthday, just like the ones she saw in one of my recipe magazines

her birthday falls during summer holidays and for few years during Ramadhan so we plan to have another celebration with her close friends after Raya.

we wish nothing but the best for you and no matter how old you are, you will always be our baby. we loved you then, we love you now and we will always love you, unconditionally..
