get a life!

i may get shot for writing this post but what the heck..i'm just voicing out my opinion.

its been more than a week since the stupid riots in Londeng and other cities, the like of Birm, Liverfool, Bristol, Manchester and of course tidak ketinggalan Notts. i was completely disgusted by the cowardly acts by the yobbos. figures are out on bbc news online today in article "what happened to the rioters in court". more than 2700 people have been arrested, 1291 charged and 1179 appeared in court. bila baca newspapers or online news, most of the yobs were the pak & mak tams tapi ada jugak mat & minah saleh tapi tak ramai. and bukan nya semua yang kena tangkap tu are jobless, ada jugak uni student, teacher assistant (one of the first yang kena charge), yang baru  dapat kerja & about to start work, anak orang berada. never mind those yang memang biul and tak sekolah/kerja, memang dah tak ada otak nak pikir panjang. yang mana ada kerja & educated tu, what were they thinking? most of them said they never thought they would get caught. weyy,, ni dah zaman teknologi with cctv everywhere in the big citites,  bukan nya zaman tok kadok or in  the remote villages in the hebrides.

most tax payers like me agree with the city councils decision to evict the 'criminals'  from their council house/flats and that includes their parents (if they still live with their parents).  kita bayar council tax punya lah banyak, nak tanggung these culprits pulak.  some parents disagree, saying that they are not responsible for their children's behaviour. wah, kalau anak2 buat jahat, dan2 tu tak responsible for the kids tapi bila anak2 excel in something, terus nak claim/share glory. come on lah, we parents are responsible for our kids - good or bad. the PM came out with another statement today - children without fathers is one of the nation's problems. tu lah, condone sangat single teenage parents who sometimes dont even know who father their kids, siap bagi flat/rumah, child benefit etc. and some of these teenager moms, dapat jer benefit terus pergi  beli booze, bukan nya nak feed/clothe the children. anak2 pulak perangai lebih kurang sama dengan mak dia orang. these youngsters are just wasting their lives. pergi sekolah pun bukan nya kena bayar fees, bukan nya kena beli buku teks etc. nak beli uniform sekolah boleh guna child benefit. they are just plain lazy, no qualification, no skill.. elok jugak council buat regulation that the parents are penalised if their  children dont attend school.

and pasal that budak melayu yang kena thugged and mugged tu, i still stick to the same opinion that i wrote on my friends fb wall.  i symphatised with him (ye lah, he's still someone's son kan?) and i know he must be a smart (pandai) boy, otherwise he wouldnt be doing the course..; but he's not smart enough NOT to get out of  his house and cycle pass the affected areas.  tau lah nak gi berbuka puasa, tapi takkan lah tak baca/dengar news lansung. takkan nak tunggu high commission or the government keluarkan circular not to leave the house or travel unless absolutely necessary. if i say budak2  sekarang tak street smart or tak cukup pikiran or totally oblivious or ignorant, i would get slurred.  memang lah pandai, kalau tak takkan lah  ramai budak sekolah dapat berpuluh2 A in the SPM or ramai uni students dapat first class degree tapi ramai yang pandai  setakat on paper without using their brains.  and i read what one msian blogger who resides in londeng wrote on his blog that this boy yg jadi victim of circumstances dapat VIP treatment - tengok badminton kat vip area, jumpa Chong Wei, jumpa londeng mayor, got the media attention which has gone overboard. ye lah berpada-pada lah kan. orang lain pun ramai jugak jadi victim tapi tak de lah media coverage yang gila2. bukan nya jealous, apa faedah nya kalau i jealous pun??. he got thugged and mugged because he happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time .. think about the hundreds of people who lost their  properties and businesses and some lives lost.

this riot is actually an eye opener to everyone - the govt, the tax payers, the public, the yobbos. they've been taking things for granted too much. there's no quick fix to this problem and shouldnt be politicised. apa2 pun, hopefully something good will come out from the bad.
