we arrived at Loanfoot cottage in Montquhannie, the land of the Scots on friday evening and manged to explore only around the cottage.
the next day was my uncle's 56th birthday and we went to St Andrews and East Neuk, the east coast of the Kingdom of Fife. our first trip to St Andrews was in April 2009, weather wasnt great. this time around weather wasnt so bad, sunny intervals in the morning but it drizzled towards the afternoon.

St Andrews Old Course
after a few hours in St Andrews, we drove to Anstruther (pron Ansther) to have our fish dinner (lunch) at the well known Anstruther Fish Bar. the small joint was packed and there was a long queue waiting to be seated so we decided to get the takeway and enjoyed our fish in the car. it was well worth it - the fish was fresh and yummy.. worth the drive.
