tadi i arrived at kenit's preschool at around 12.45pm, macam biasa. the kids just finished their dinner (lunch) and were just starting on their pudding (dessert) when i got there. so kena lah tunggu dia habis makan dulu. and they only finished eating at 5 minutes to 1pm. i asked her to hurry so that we wouldnt miss the 1.00 or 1.05 buses. dah keluar from the room, she forgot her sunhat, i told her just to leave it at school cos she's going back there tomorrow morning. but knowing her, she wouldnt barge.. by the time we left the building, the 1.05 bus just passed by. so i slow talked her into walking home instead of waiting for another 20 minutes for the next bus. "maybe we could spot some flowers and trees and minis" (she & her sister are into mini cooper spotting game) and she agreed. so we walked slowly for about 15 minutes to get home.
half way, she asked if i could carry her..
i said "mummy penat lah sayang..i'm carrying 2 bags (my shoulder bag & work bag)"
kenit : "just for a short while..pleaseeeee"
mummy :"okay, just for a bit..u wouldnt want me to break my back would u?..if i break my back, who's going to look after you?"
kenit: "if you break your back, kakak will look after me and daddy will take you to the hospital."
mummy:" you are a big girl now, i can't carry you anymore. "
kenit:" "but daddy can carry me"
mummy:" yes.. daddy is stronger than me"
kent : (punchline) " DADDY IS STRONG, AND YOU ARE 48 YEARS OLD AND YOU ARE OLDER THAN DADDY!!"
what can you say but LOL!!!
i put her down and she walked. a car stopped by and the lady driver offered us a lift .. i thanked her but we were ok, we werent that far away from home..
