Promoter & Shopper...

i'm truly happy, proud and excited for my cousin Noreen's latest venture; The Totshop - her very own shop.

for the love of her 2  lovely kids Amir & Sarah,  her passion for being an entrepreneur & following her mom's footsteps and loving cute baby stuff, she ditched the corporate world and her comfy job and started an online business selling 'diapercakes'.  since she  listed totshop on facebook, orders kept coming in.

one of her 2011 projects is opening her own store and with the great support from her parents, siblings, husband & children, relatives and dearest friends, her project materialised yesterday.

back in April 2010, she wrote this in her own "now abandoned" blog (what happened ying?? and sorry for hijacking without permission)

"Am glad i can work on something that is so close to my heart, makes lots of ppl happy with my creation, and at the same time earn a little from it. I think i'm living my dreams! In fact before I left my job in the corp world i made a promise to myself to fully handle the family biz by age of 30 and have MY OWN steady biz, doing something that i like by the age of 35. I think i'm on track.. i think this is a promising start"

i found a little something for her from this shop in Eton when i took her parents around Windsor & Eton last month. its kind of a cute little "reminder" which i asked her to put at a strategic location in the shop. according to her, yesterday ramai orang spotted the sign and gelak! so befitting kan?

if you happen to be in Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Bukit Jelutong area, do drop by  this children friendly store which offers children wear, handcrafted baby gifts and customised party items and grab exclusively designed "made to order" diaper cakes for newborn. she is also a party planner in the making..
