special request

last week i baked kek pisang kampong (yang macam jual kat pasar malam tuu..) and bawak ke office. i promised my colleague andy who helped me with my 'design & value coursework' yang kena refer tu...that i would bake a cake and bring to work after i handed in the work.

i wasnt keen to do that particular referred coursework.. i failed the first time around because i didnt like the subject which i found so irrelevant for the course, the questions were so vague and my heart wasnt in that subject..i didnt really know what GT wanted. nak kena ikut his architectural mind aja and architects always think they are so superior above the others and are so full of themselves !!! (sorry ye kawan2 and sedara mara architect...but thats the simple truth!)..nasib baik i did well in the exam because the subject is a combination of design, cost and value. but anyway, andy gave me some pointers..what he would expect his students to write to answer such question..

my work mates loved the kek pisang and then..the sweet toothers talked about cream cakes, meringue, treacle syrup in oat porridge or muesli cereal etc etc....when andy said 'banana & walnut cake is nice too..'.

i told them that's kamar's fav cake..and i'll bake one for them as i've got some over ripe bananas in the fridge.

alan then took out 2 bananas from his drawer and said "i'll give you the bananas for B&W cake !!"

so yesterday i baked the banana, walnut, dates & honey cake and brought it to work this morning for all to enjoy with their tea/coffee..
