our scottish guests

2 weeks ago, my friend Gee came for a short break, with her 2 girls Yasmin & Zhara. this trip was like 'membalas lawatan'. schools in scotland had their mid term break 2 weeks earlier than the schools here as they started the autumn term in mid august instead of early september. after visiting Gee in mid july, i've asked her to come over during the mid term break. it was nice to see them all again. the kids (hers and ours) got along well..

while they were here, they visited another long time friend, Sakinah (formerly known as Judith) and her family in Leicester and stayed with them for 2 nites. that weekend, so happened we were in Leicester to celebrate baby Lael's first birthday do; after the birthday party we visited Sakinah. it was a good get together.

on Sunday we went to Rufford Park, jalan2 and had kfc picnic lunch. it was a good day out, sunny and dry and not so cold. the girls enjoyed themselves.


the next day, Gee and her girls took the train back to Glasgow.. we hope to see them again, for Hogmanay maybe???
