syila came to the UK 2 years ago to do her part 2 Architecture at Robert Gordon Uni in Aberdeen and first came to our house with her mom who is my mak sepupu/aunty (syila's granny and my granny are sisters) in december last year. then she came again and stayed with us for a month or so to help look after the kids during summer and we parted in Glasgow during that short trip to Ayrshire. she's been great with the kids and i felt truly blessed to get to know her after all these years. when she was here, she met Raudah & Murni and they got along well.
i bought her a pair of lovely and classy 'pointy' shoes from a charity shop in Oakham for her to wear on her wedding day (if they match her outfit) and something else as wedding present; all stuff were shipped to malaysia at the end of july and the boxes arrived just last week, in time for her big day..wish we could be there on her big days - engagement, nikah & sanding and hope to see her (& faha) again one fine day, Insyaallah. nevertheless, heartiest congratulations to both Syila & Faha and have a wonderful life together.
