we just got home from our week long easter holiday in north wales and we had a good time. i've been to south wales when i was a student. cardiff (or caerdydd) has changed to be a really commercial city and i'm not really into visiting big cities now. the countryside appeals to me more.

the welsh are proud of their language-everywhere you go, the sign boards are written in welsh & english. tak sesia belajar macamana nak pronounce their alphabets before pergi holiday. it helped with reading the name of places. most of the locals speak in their mothers' tongue, even the young ones.
the landscape is very diversed from the snowy mountains, rugged highlands, slate mountains, farmland, valleys and the sea.
