to get to Llangollen, we drove by way of Horseshoe Pass where the road climbs around a huge cirque.

after the 45 minutes boat trip, we walked on Llangollen Bridge which was originally built 8 feet wide in 1345. below the road is the Llangollen Steam Railway Station. railway arrived here in 1862.

from the town centre, we drove to Pontcysyllte Aquaduct & Canal. this is the tallest navigable aquaduct in thw world and transports the Llangollen canal high over Dee Valley. the aquaduct was built by Thomas Telford in 1805, 127 feet above the river and 1000 feet long with 18 piers. ther's a narrow pathway next to the canal where people can walk between both ends. bila jalan atas tu, try jangan pandang bawah so that tak gayat sangat.
