our first stop was of course Llanfair PG; nak sebut nama penuh panjang sangat. this village is well known for having the the longest name in the UK, 3rd longest in the world. tercapai lah jugak cita cita nak posing at the train station which is the famous landmark.
our second stop was at Plas Newydd, just off the coast. this is the home of Marquess of Anglesey. we spent 2 hours there, walking in the garden and on the waterfront. ramai betul visitors. 
from there we drove to Foel Farm which is a working farm, has a B&B, the kids could play with and feed the animals, walked to the paddocks, take tractor ride etc.. 
then off to Beaumaris, had a look at the castle (closed at 4.30pm),
walked around town and found this...
and we walked along the strait to the pier. from Beaumaris, we drove across the isle to Holyhead which is at the north shore. on the way, we stopped at the viewpoint to have a look at Menai Suspension Bridge, designed by Thomas Telford, a well known scottish engineer who also designed the Pontcysyllte Aquaduct bridge in Llangollen and Waterloo Bridge at Betws-y-coed.
ferries run from Holyhead to Ireland. we went to Holyhead Mountain Hut Circles at South Stack, which is the remains of early settlement of 2nd to 4th centuries. 
the name reminds me of "Supercalifragilisticexplielidocious". Not sure how it is spelled, but you know what I mean :)
