holiday post mortem (part 4)

balik baru ni, banyak betul dapat presents dari kawan2 & relatives - baju raya, telekung, all sorts of makanan including  kerepek, kuih raya, dodol, budu, keropok, ready made paste, kuah kacang, serunding etc etc. and almost all of the barang makanan dibawa balik kesini. at KLIA masa check in kena charge extra 5kg over (total)weight. MAS which co-share with Etihad sangat lah berkira and kedekut! i would never ever fly on the national carrier, tak kira lah orang kata i ni tak patriotic ke; so what??  on the plane i saw this mat saleh guy bawak holdall/cabin bag yang bulky giler. dont tell me that weighed 7 kg.  please laaaa..i insisted that we paid RM500 for the extra weight and kamar said "its better be worth it". well, Alhamdulillah sampai di Heathrow, lalu green lane dengan muka confident. i was so pleased bila tengok barang2 seludup arrived in good condition.

koleksi huih raya yg diberi oleh kengkawan & saudara mara. ada tart nenas, bahulu, semperit, choc squares, kuih bangkit, crunchy almond, jejari udang among others.

 i must say this one is soooo sedap & different. i bought 2 balang from my cousin, kat msia lagi dah habis. big missy said "it taste like meringue but not quite, and cheesecake all in one". Alhamdulillah rezeki, my aunty gave me 2 balang at the airport when they sent us off.

 

all the different types of kerepek and biskut. lil missy loves kerepek bawang.  

 macam2 ada.. some said to me "boleh bukak kedai runcit".

memang pun. should see our stock in the store. meriah!

 memang tak menyesal bayar extra RM500 sbb dapat dodol asli from melaka, budu made in seberang pasir mas, chilly sauce for keropok, homemade acar ikan kering kurau + buah,

murtabak johor etc  

baju raya pun disponsor jugak tahun ni. thanks to my longest time friend Sally (we've been friends since we were 7 y.o) for my baju raya yg ada bling2 kat dada tapi boleh dicover by the tudung. tak sempat nak gi cari tudung glam sikit nak pakai raya, so ended up with the plain grey one. and thanks to Ann for the girls baju kurung. ramai orang cakap nice colour and beadwork.

and lil missy loves this kebaya nyonya that Naza gave. she wore this on 2nd day raya dari pagi sampai malam..Ina gave few dresses to lil missy which she wore the next few days.

 

Alhamdulillah murah rezeki kami. tu lah, tak sia2 berbaik & tak menyombong dengan orang, tak kira lah kawan atau ahli keluarga.
