hoilday post mortem (part 5)

as the saying goes "you can choose your friends but not your relatives" and "friends come and go but true friends stay on".

i have friends from different phases of my life - from primary school-secondary school-college-uni-housemates-workmates-soulmates. and not all are 'true friends' except the selected fews whom i know are trustworthy, sincere and were (& will be)  there through thick & thin.  

masa balik baru ni, sempat jumpa most of my close friends. i made a point to meet up with them, even for a short time.  some of them jumpa once, while some sempat met up twice.

my bff; yg ni first2 sekali jumpa, 2 days after sampai msia.

 me & my "first" friends ever - we've known each other since we were 7.

L-R : sally, chomin & za, we were classmates from std 1-6. all of them went to SMS Kelantan but i didnt make the grades to join them. rasa macam tak cukup masa nak bercerita. but we had lots of fun catching up!

 berbuka puasa with ex beluntas girls at naza's house. yg best nya, the only time all of us met up when i go back for holidays. the last time we were together was in 2008.

 second get together before i came back. this time Su managed to come over; but without Ani & Ann.

berbuka puasa at Mira's with my cousin Dy. my eyes were looking at the pengat durian & choc cake.

 mira came to my sis in law's place the nite before we left.

 with Ida, my uni friend who was also my saturday nite companion during zaman jahiliah in Glasgow. it was really good to see her & her mom again after more than 6 years!

with cik ning, my neighbour from kampong. her family used to live next to my grandparents place way back in late the 70s.

 the kiddos with their aunty murni - our close friend in notts who's gone back to msia in december last year.

 and these are my good old friends/dormates/coursemates during itm days in early 80s. the 2 ladies on the far left & right ( Ti & kak senah) left for  Edinburgh while me & ita went to Glasgow in the mid 80s.  

 linot, an ex colleague and car pool friend, paid a visit (albeit short) at my apartment on the bukit.

 i paid a visit to the former workplace and met up with my first boss, HAAB

 me & Oya, my prodigy and the little sister i met in Glasgow.

 we were at Ijun (another glasgow friend)'s place for raya lunch.  

and we also squeezed some time to meet up with Puvan, one of kamar's close friends. well, kesian lah suami saya yg tak berapa ramai kawan but he treasures the limited friends that he has.

  and of course visited his bff,  Saf at his place.

the friend yg first2 jumpa masa mula2 balik ke msia and last2 jumpa before balik ke sini.  



to my friends (some tak de gambar even tho jumpa), thanks for being you..
