QDJ long weekend : Part 1

Queen's Diamond Jubilee long weekend been and gone. original plan was to spend time at Richard & Ivy's place in Kent from Sunday-Tuesday but after reading the weather forecast, we decided to abandon the plan.

Saturday was spent pottering around the house, did 2 loads of washing & grocery shopping, big missy went to her friend's birthday party

It rained all day on Sunday, nak pergi Jubilee Picnic  Lunch at Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire pun tak boleh. best to stay indoor and National Space Centre in Leicester was the place to be.

after spending 3 hours in there, drove to Eva & Scott's new house in a lovely village outside Leicester for dinner. lepas makan, lepak2 while watching Gary Barlow's video, "The making of Sing, the official QDJ song".
