QDJ in East Midlands : i was there!!

like some people, i dont want to admit that i'm a royalist. well, i'm NOT a royalist thro & thro but i think the Queen is one tough cookie. she's already 86, reigned for 60 years and still working, stood 4 hours on Spirit of Chartwell (not that they didnt provide seats) with her 91 y.o. husband and travelling around the country to meet her people. you've got to give her some credit!

on wednesday 13/6, i joined the crowd of 30,000 at Old Market Square welcoming HM and Will & Kate to Notts. it could be my once in a lifetime opportunity to see them. nak jumpa tu susah lah kan but nak tengok tu, rasanya NOT impossible. people started gathering at 6am to get the best 'seat' right at the front..

i enjoyed it; great atmosphere!

pic taken at 9am, when i got there.

10.10 am : they are here!! (right on time, according to the schedule)

the closest i could get to them

after half hour in the council house, they left for Vernon Park
