my 'me' time

this afternoon, seeing me attended to her requests for food every so often, did the dishes, took the washing in,
the little missy said  "mummy, you do all the housework". That came out of nowhere..
and i said "yes, if i dont do the housework, who else would do them for me?"
she said "daddy would"
i said "well daddy isnt home, so i have to do them all..did i do them well?"
she said " yes...thats why i love you.."

so, after all the hardwork, i guess i deserve some 'ME' time after we had dinner.. read the last few chapters of  Rabbit  while enjoying a cup of coffee and  a 'square' of  cookies & creme fudge brownies i baked earlier.
