asal nya nak gi beli the latest Tom Clancy book for father's day present but bila masuk je kedai, banyak pulak offer hari ni and i ended up buying 4 books and believe it or not - 2 hard covers and 2 paper backs cost me only £20!!
Tom Clancy's Against All Enemies baru keluar hari ni, 50% discount from £20. i'm proud to announce that i was the first person who bought that book from whsmith beeston this morning at 9.20am, how didi i know that? cos the books were not on display yet and the lady behind the counter had to get it from the store!
Parky's People is reduced from £20 to £5...of course lah i grabbed it. i'm a big fan of his interview programme Parkinson, shown on telly from 1971 to 1982 and from 1998 to 2007. he has interviewed about 2000 of the world's famous people. he became NTU's first Chancellor on 11 November 2008 and i was there, sitting behind him on the stage, when he first conferred degrees at graduation ceremony in 2009. this book is about his interviews with 100 of his famous guests.
the other 2 paperbacks are just irresistible - 2 for £5, big book, big letters.. actually i bought Memory Keeper's Daughter few years ago but i gave it to my sis in law, just want to read it again. Long Walk Home is about 2 children from different background living in 19th century England.
bila nak baca semua ni?? i've got about 20 books waiting to be read..
