year end guests

last monday we played hosts to my mom's cousin, kak mah & her 2 daughters - syila & syina. syila is doing her masters in architecture at Robert Gordon Uni in Aberdeen while syina has just completed her spm. kak mah's hubby passed away 2 years ago and we attended her eldest daughter's wedding when we were home in summer 2008.

kak mah & syina arrived from msia on boxing day and were met at the airport by her late hubby's nephew who took them back to coventry. we fetched them at walsall on 28th morning and brought them over. after late lunch, we took them to junc 28 retail outlet for some shopping till the place closed at 6pm.

the next day, we drove to the cotswolds. weather wasnt so good - wet and gloomy, tapi sempat la jalan2 kat Chipping Camden & Bourton on The Water.

shortly before we left bourton, it started to snow as forecast.

kamar kata, kena recce tempat lain to bring our guests sebab asyik2 ke cotswolds aja.. i love its quaint villages & cottages and always found different things each time we went there. another favourite place is the peak district which is just 1 hour drive away but thats more for outdoor walking. susah jugak jadi touris guide ni!

kak mah & her girls left for london on wednesday morning, en route to prague & paris and then off to cold & freezing aberdeen ...thanks for dropping by (and also for the asam boi!!)
