my first social activity was on Monday nite, meeting the Beluntas Girls at our favourite port 20 years ago, eating our favourite supper - teochew porridge at Lodge Hotel. we were housemates for a good few years in early 90s, sharing the 5 bedroom terrace house at Lorong Beluntas in Medan Damansara hence the name "Beluntas Girls"; until one by one got married or bought our own properties and left but we remained close. naza, lyn & su's girls were infact my flower girls at our wedding in 1998.
punya lah riuh, semua orang nak bercerita.. one person missing - Suraya, she was in Spore..Ann towkay T'Mor Place siap bawak nasi dagang yg dah siap pack dalam bekas; for us to have for breakfast the following morning. Jam had just her knee operation in the afternoon came with me. Naza & Ani came with Lyn, chauffeured driven by Lyn's son Hansya. we left at 1am.
it just didn't end there. we decided to meet up again at naza & meor's place, the nite before i left msia. it wasnt easy to get all the 7 of us together and it only happened when i go back to msia!!
naza prepared the whole spread of food; tema kampong - ubi kayu rebus cicah sambal tumis ikan bilis, kelapa & ikan masin for starter. then nasi with all the lauk kampong - ikan pari & talapia bakar cicah air asam, gulai lemak nangka, sambal kuinin, ulam2..apa lagi ek?? then dessert - pengat pisang & buah2an kampong.

thank you so much to the tuan rumah - naza & meor for hosting the get together and also to our sisters in crime; for all the hadiah, kuih muih, kerepek, etc etc.. hope to see all of you again some time soon - reunion di Notts pon ok gak kan?? sure riuh rendah !!
