24/12/12 - xmas eve in Langham

25/12/12 - xmas lunch in Langham, then back home.

26/12/12 - left for The Lakes.  after 3 1/2 hours drive and 2 toilet stops, arrived at Pea Top Farm, Culgaith, 7 miles away from Penrith.

27/12/12 - Pooley Bridge-Ullswater-Glenridding-Kirkstone Pass-Windermere

28/12/12 - Keswick & Derwent Water

29/12/12 -Sedbergh-Ambleside-Grasmere

30/12/12 -North Pennines-Hartside Pass-Chester Roman Fort Hadrian Wall-Scotland

31/12/12 - Down Memory Lane in Glasgow's West End & City Centre, Hogmanay

1/1/13     - New Year's Day in Fenwick. after a lovely lunch, 6 hours drive to Notts

9 days away from home..penat but we had a good time. there are lots more places around The Lakes & Mountains yet to be visited.
