i have a lot to be thankful for. Allah swt had sent me this man 15 years ago, albeit a bit later in our lives. orang selalu cakap, jangan duk puji sangat husband or wife sebab kalau dah terlebih puji, nanti bila ada yang "terbuat hal", teruk padahnya. he's not mr perfect but neither am i. he's been a great help when i just didnt have the time or strength to cook, clean, grocery shopping, do the school run, look after the kids. the only thing that he didnt do was ironing and making daily packed lunches in the morning.
my teaching timetable was really crazy for the first 2 weeks of the new term, classes from 9am-6 or 7pm. by the time i get home it would be 7 or 8 and the kids would be starving if he hadnt made dinner and almost lil missy's bedtime. nasib baik daddy's office is just 5 miles away, by 5.30pm he's home. last weekend was a bit crazy. i had to get the marking done for monday, so i "parked" myself in the kitchen all day sunday from 6am. ini lah activities in our kitchen last sunday morning.
and he made chilli con carne for lunch.. sedapppp...
yesterday i only had 2 hours of teaching and by 2.30pm i was already home. sempat lah ambik lil missy from school and masak "yellow rice" as i promised the kids & their dad.
what would i do without him? what else would i want from a husband?? yes, he couldnt lavish me with extra ££££ (kalau ada, apa salahnya kan??) which most husbands do to keep their wives happy and also to make up for the lost of quality time together.but i'm happy & contented with what we have. Alhamdulillah syukur dengan rezeki & nikmat yang diberi Allah swt.
