Keys collected on 19th August. Alhamdulillah..
the house was built in 1975 and the previous owners were elderly people; the husband passed away early this year and the wife moved back to Yorkshire to live near her daughter. based on survey report, some immediate remedial work need to be done. and from Monday 19th, we've been busy seeing people who would be doing the works
1. electrical work - tambah sockets, tukar distribution board. ada VO & EOT sebab kena tukar wiring to most light fittings.
2. re-carpeting
3. remove and replace ceiling in the kitchen
4. remove the old gas fire & replace with electric fire
5. install new boiler
6. repaint wall paper.
my favourite room in the house must be the pantry which will be my mini kedai runcit.
rumah & tanah hanya sekangkang kera (tu pon kalau kera tak malu nak kangkang!!) but the garden is well kept. previous owner bayar gardener to maintain the garden but I guess I will do the work from now on.
the kitchen is "cute".. will make do with the kitchen cabinet yang ada sekarang until the time comes and duit dalam tabong dah cukup untuk buat cabinet baru.
