in sickness & in health

I curi-curi took this pic of an elderly couple seated opposite me on the bus this morning. what is so special about them? they are in their 70s, the wife is suffering from Parkinson disease. all the way to the city centre, the husband kept holding his wife's hands and glanced at her every so often to check how she was. they didn't talk much but their body language is enough to show that he cares for her & loves her deeply.

it got me into wondering, how our lives  would be when we are both old & grey. will we still be able to look after each other? if  one of us sakit, larat ke the other one jaga? insyaallah. berpegang teguh kepada "in sickness and in health"
