in festive mood

its less than 3 weeks to xmas but we are already in festive mood - foodwise.

i found Heston Blumenthal mince pies in Waitrose - fell in love with them at ina's place last year. they are different from the normal mince pies, made of puff pastry instead of shortcrust. and last weekend we bought box of crackers and block of cheese yang lemak berkerim..

 last nite i had 2 mince pies after dinner, orang lain semua tak suka makan mince pies. then later on at 11pm, kamar took out the cheese board, complete with pickle (walnut pickle dah habis) & grapes - supper kata nya.

petang tadi, when the kids got back from school, lil missy took the crackers out and all 3 of us (daddy belum balik) had crackers & cheese sampai crackers tinggal 5 keping & cheese ada 1/4 block aja. just when my friend izwan (mira's hub) commented last nite "besar nya cheese" and that size of cheese usually last for 1 week.

tengok lah punya stylo anak kita duduk. it runs in (my) family. my grandpa arwah Nik Kar selalu duduk macam tu especially when he's resting/reading newspaper  on his lazy chair or sofa. ternampak-nampak gaya dia. and my cousin nik dy's late father (who is arwah nik kar's younger brother) pon duduk macam gitu jugak. memang confirm cucu cicit en busu/nik habibah. now menurun to the younger generations.
