balik kampong

8.30am, 31st july :

we left for london heathrow terminal 4. the car was full to the brim with 5 suitcases and 4 hand luggages.  

arrived at airport 3 hours later. dropped off the car at valet parking. its actually cheaper to park at the long stay rather than taking the taxi/coach.

 

2.00pm : on board Etihad Airways, bound for Abu Dhabi. 7 hours flight was easy for the kids, amused themselves watching movies and playing games. 2 hours transit in Abu Dhabi was spent watching the olympics - men synchronised diving.  little missy dozzed off just before we left AD for KL and slept all the way..

2.00pm (msian time) 1st August : we arrived at KLIA; di sambut oleh immediate family members - my mom, my siblings, my cousin, kamar's brother & sister.  it was really good to see familiar faces again. kids first reaction : panas!!
