we welcomed the new year with 2 young guests - Aida, my cousin's daughter who's reading law at Reading Uni and Sarah, our close friends Naza & Meor's eldest daughter who's here on holiday after SPM. Sarah was infact one of the flower girls at our wedding reception in 1998.
Aida and Sarah sempat spent time together a nite before Aida went back to Reading. it was good for them to meet and know each other cos Sarah plans to read law after A Level. Aida gave her some insights of the course.
we didnt get to take Aida out much except for a walk at Wollaton Park cos we were still busy settling in but we hope she will come back to visit and stay a bit longer.

Sarah was here for a week and she's had a relaxing break - went running in the Park few mornings, went out shopping all by herself and on some days just stayed in.
on Sunday, a day before leaving for home, we took Sarah to the countryside - Bakewell and Monsal Dale. she loved Bakewell Pudding and i bought 2 for her to take home for her mom.
and she said Monsal Dale is something like in the movies Merlin and PS I Love U.
glad they felt at home in our humble place and enjoyed their stay..
