counting hours

general rule = teaching hours shouldnt exceed 16 hours/week is not applicable anymore. we're in the 4th week of the first term and i have surpassed that max limit, now teaching 18 hrs/week. earlier today, i was given additional 2 hrs/week; teaching one group of first year students. all classes this year are run on 2 hours sessions, sometimes back to back. 3 days/week i teach from 9am to 5 or 6pm with a couple of hours break. masa break nak reply email & prepare  teaching materials and other paper work, reading & research.

can you imagine how burnt out i will be by 5pm on Friday..

time is no longer in my hands..
